30 Expats arrested including 9 visa violators and 13 liquor peddlers

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: Through vigilant security measures and vigilant oversight by the criminal security sector, specifically undertaken by the General Department of Criminal Investigation, a total of 13 individuals have been apprehended. These individuals were detained on allegations of facilitating the distribution of home brewed liquor.

Additionally, 8 persons were apprehended while found to be under the influence of intoxicating substances. These arrests were made within the areas of Khaitan, Farwaniya, Hawally, and Salmiya, and they include 9 individuals who were also found to be in violation of residence laws.

Subsequently, all apprehended individuals have been referred to the appropriate legal authorities. These actions reflect the commitment to taking necessary legal measures against those found in breach of the law.
