3 wounded in Tehran by improvised explosive devices

TEHRAN, Apr 15: Two remotely operated improvised explosive devices detonated in central Tehran early Wednesday, according to state media reports, injuring three people, including a member of the Basij paramilitary force. A security source from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said a third device was successfully defused, while officials confirmed there were no fatalities and only minor injuries. IRGC commander for Tehran region 10, Mohammad Balideh, told Hamshahri that the situation was “normal and under control,” describing the incident as a limited street-level explosion carried out by “traitorous elements,” as reported by Islamic Republic News Agency.
