3 Aircraft’s carrying medical supplies from China destined to Kuwait at the end of the week

KUWAIT, May 26: Kuwait’s Ambassador to China, Samih Johar Hayat, said that three giant cargo planes have left to Shanghai International Airport, heading for the country with hundreds of tons of medical and preventive supplies to enhance the strategic inventory in the country.

Ambassador Hayat also revealed in a statement that Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) received a copy that three other cargo planes are also scheduled within the existing air bridge with China at the end of this week.

He pointed out that the number of cargo planes since the start of the pandemic (Corona emerging – Covid 19) pandemic has reached 16 civil and military cargo aircraft within the country’s schedule of medical and preventive supplies to enhance the strategic stock in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health and other sectors of the country under the direct supervision and guidance of the Kuwaiti Cabinet .

Ambassador Hayat also pointed out that there are other shipments of medical and preventive supplies that were launched last week from China towards the country by sea shipping from the most important Chinese international ports in the cities of (Shanghai) and (Tianjin) and that it is expected to arrive in Kuwait soon.

Ambassador Hayat expressed the appreciation of the State of Kuwait for the continuous and sincere efforts in which the leaders of the Chinese government, especially in the foreign and trade ministries and the Central Customs Authority, are in providing permanent support and facilitating all procedures and overcoming difficulties and obstacles in front of the Kuwaiti embassy in Beijing to support efforts to contain and combat the Corona virus – Coved 19 )
