KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11:  In a concerted effort to uphold the Residency and Labor Law, the Residence Investigation Department has conducted extensive security operations in various regions, leading to the apprehension of 282 expats. The crackdown targeted multiple areas, including Khaitan, Hawalli, Al Dajeej, Kabd, Brayeh Salem, Salhiya, Mahboula, Fahaheel Markets, and Farwaniya.

The rigorous inspection campaigns were executed by key units of the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations. These included the Research and Investigation Department, the Control and Coordination Department, the Financial and Administrative Services Department, the Tripartite Committee, and the Violators Follow-up Department.

The joint efforts resulted in the identification and arrest of individuals found to be in violation of the Residency and Labor Law. Notably, two counterfeit domestic labor offices and an illicit massage institute were among the establishments targeted during these operations.

Legal actions are now being pursued against the apprehended individuals, who will be referred to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and due process. This decisive action underscores the commitment to maintaining the integrity of residency regulations and ensuring compliance with labor laws in the specified regions.
