28 Pinoys to battle out in Pinoy Arabia ME ‘Sing Galing 7’ finals

Philippine Ambassador to grace grand finals on Dec 18

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 16: A total of 28 talented Filipinos out of the 125 who submitted their one-minute a cappella video and sang their hear out during the three weekly elimination rounds of “Pinoy Arabia ME Sing Galing 7” are moving on to the grand finals which will be held on December 18, 2021 at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Salmiya Pinoy Arabia ME, the most listened to Filipino online radio in Kuwait launched on October 15, 2021 the “Sing Galing 7”- one of the biggest singing competitions in Kuwait to mark the 7th anniversary of Pinoy Arabia ME.

First week qualifiers with judges and Pinoy Arabia ME team

Those who will be battling out in the grand finals are Klaudine Basalo Hipayo, Rosana Mansigue, May Ann Tabuzo, Aljen Remogat, Aldrin Bartulin, Jonnard Liam III, RegineMaluya, Alma Dizon, Joseph Estandarte, Leobert Azarcon, Anacleto Liberato, Jayson Tamayo, Felicisima Santos, Jonathan Lobo, Gerald Dioquino, Andrelyn Macabodbod, Jessie Jesus Defante, Faye Charmaine Ibon, Karen Dolatre, Evangeline Borja, Mansour Melad Amin, Christopher De Vera, Mary Vic Cabrera, Alyzza Vasquez, Nadia Adam, Jay ArVillasabas, Charmaine Bosque and Allan Maurin.

The panel of judges composed of Arab Times Senior Editor Marlon Malinao, Le Mogene Tucker, Jumel Carvajal, Denzil Buenaventura, Suganda Menon and Frederick Acampado rated the contestants based on their vocal quality, performance, timing and X-Factor, “Out of the 125, more than 40 made it to the weekly elimination rounds and now we’re down to 28. They are all talented and we can’t wait to see their final performance,” stated Red, the program presenter of “Red Hot List” on Pinoy Arabia ME. Red will be hosting the “Sing Galing 7” grand finals together with Kris, the presenter of “Dear Kris” on Pinoy Arabia ME and Mark the Spark, the “Rakrakan” show presenter.

“For sure, everyone will have a blast on the grand finals plus it’s Pinoy Arabia’s 7th anniversary celebration. We would like to thank everyone who has been there supporting us all this time as we promise to give you more exciting surprises in the coming year,” enthused Kris. The grand finals will be graced by visiting Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Arnaldo Ignacio as well as Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait Mohd Noordin Pendosina Lomondot, Labor Attache Nasser Mustafa and other Philippine Embassy and POLO-OWWA officials. The singing competition is open to all talented Filipino citizens or of Filipino descent (mixed race); 18 years old and above; a resident of Kuwait with valid residence visa, of good moral standing; did not win any grand prize or runner-up spot in any of Pinoy Arabia “Sing Galing” contests or did not win any grand prize or first place in any singing contest in Kuwait. The “Sing Galing 7” is sponsored by Ooredoo, Al Muzaini Exchange, Union Trading Company, Dadabhai Travel, Blooms, Dukan, Asia’s Grill Restaurant, Milk Tea & KTV, Sky Freight Cargo, Extreme Electronics and Season 19 Restaurant & Café.

Third week qualifiers

Prizes at stake are KD500 cash and a round trip ticket to Manila for the grand prize winner while runners up will also get valuable prizes.
