28 countries to join in 25th Asian Bowling Championship

President of World and Asian bowling federations, and Chairman of Kuwait Bowling Club Sheikh Talal Al-Muhammad Al-Sabah.

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: President of World and Asian bowling federations, and Chairman of Kuwait Bowling Club Sheikh Talal Al-Muhammad Al-Sabah announced that 364 male and female bowlers and administrators will represent 28 countries in the 25th Asian Bowling Championship, which is due to kick start next Sunday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

During a press conference, Sheikh Talal praised the Kuwait Center for Bowling in Salmiya which will host this Asian event.

He also appreciated His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak for patronizing and organizing the event, and for his huge support towards Kuwaiti youths by standing by them and encouraging them to realize achievements.

Sheikh Talal explained that Kuwait will host two important events in the future at Kuwait Center for Bowling. These events World Cup Bowling Championships for individuals in 2020, and teams in 2021. Kuwait Open (Tier 1) Bowling Championship will be held from Oct 31 to Nov 6, which will be immediately after the end of the 25th Asian Bowling Championship for which the Australian team have already arrived.
