271 Egyptians to be evacuated from Kuwait today

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 18: Travel procedures began to evacuate 271 Egyptians from Kuwait aboard EgyptAir. The plane will leave at 2.45 pm, heading to Cairo Airport.

Earlier the consulate of Egypt in Kuwait had invited its nationals wishing to return to Egypt to communicate with them.

The Egyptian consulate said in a statement yesterday in connection with the decision of the Kuwaiti authorities to suspend air traffic to and from Kuwait, as on Friday, March 13, 2020, the consulate of Egypt in Kuwait invites Egyptian citizens wishing to return to the homeland who entered Kuwait on visit or tourist visas to contact the consulate personally.
