KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: The Public Relations Department of the Municipality announced that field teams from the Public Hygiene and Road Occupation Departments will continue to intensify their inspection rounds across all governorates. These efforts aim to monitor compliance with municipal hygiene and road occupancy regulations, remove violations, and strengthen the role of regulatory bodies in enforcing municipal laws.
A spokesperson explained that the Public Cleanliness and Road Occupations Department of the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality branch recently conducted extensive inspection tours in residential areas. The initiative was designed to enhance cleanliness standards, eliminate obstacles on roads that distort public spaces, and prevent the improper disposal of waste outside designated containers.
During these inspections, the teams removed 27 abandoned vehicles, scrap materials, and boats that violated municipal regulations. In addition, 40 violations were issued for public cleanliness and road obstruction offenses, while 38 removal stickers were placed on abandoned cars and non-compliant commercial containers. Furthermore, 20 old waste containers were replaced with new ones to improve waste management in the area.
These measures reflect the Municipality’s ongoing commitment to maintaining public hygiene, improving the aesthetic and functional quality of roads, and ensuring compliance with municipal regulations for the benefit of all residents.
