251 campsites booked on the first day

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: The Kuwait Municipality has begun receiving 2022/2023 spring camp season sites reservations requests electronically, reports Al-Jarida daily. The daily quoting reliable sources said 251 requests have been received on the first day of opening reservations within the 34 specified sites in the Jahra and Ahmadi governorates. Sources in the municipality pointed out the procedures for booking the camping site and paying the fees of 150 dinars, of which 100 dinars is a refundable insurance value, is done via the link https://camp.baladia.gov.kw/ on the official website of the Kuwait Municipality.

The sources added that special notices have been placed on the conditions to be followed in the camping sites, the most prominent of which are related to the area specified for each license with a maximum of 1,000 meters, and the obligation to obtain a camp cleanliness certificate from the competent department, so that the license holder can recover the insurance value. It is noteworthy that the camping season kicked off Nov 15 and ends on March 15 of next year. The municipality also launched an awareness campaign to keep the camping area clean.
