KUWAIT CITY, July 13: The Domestic Labor Recruitment Regulatory Department has released its statistics for May 2025, reporting a total of 598 complaints and several regulatory actions concerning domestic labor recruitment office licenses. According to the official data issued by the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), the total number of registered domestic labor recruitment offices reached 488.
During the month, seven new licenses were issued, 19 were renewed, and only one request for license cancellation was submitted. The statistics also showed that 25 licenses were suspended, and 31 suspensions were lifted after the offices resolved their regulatory status. PAM affirmed that these figures reflect its ongoing efforts to regulate the domestic labor recruitment market and strengthen oversight of recruitment offices to ensure compliance with legal requirements and protect the rights of both employers and workers
