25 Expat engineers sacked

KUWAIT CITY, July 3: Director- General of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) Engr Ali Al-Farsi issued a decision to suspend the director of the Execution and Maintenance Department in the Agricultural Sector for three months and refer him for investigation on suspicion of negligence and failure to follow up the implementation of contracts with the concerned companies, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a related development, the director- general terminated 25 expatriate engineers as per the directive of Public Works Minister Engr Ali Al- Mousa. These expatriate engineers will be replaced with Kuwaitis, who will then follow the implementation of contracts.
