KUWAIT CITY, July 2: The 24th Asian Handball Club Champions, Kuwait Club received a warm welcome on returning back. After 15 years of absence Kuwait club won the title in Indian City Hyderabad, Qadsiya club won the third place.

The Asian Champions were received the Assistant Secretary-General of the Kuwait Olympic Committee Ali Al-Marri, the Deputy Director-General for Competitive Sports Affairs in the Public Authority for Sports Dr. Kuwait Khaled Al-Ghanim, Al-Nasr Club Chairman Khaled Al-Shraideh, Vice Chairman of Kuwait Club Bader Al-Osaimi, members Balsam Al-Ayoub, Muhammad Al-Nisf, and a number of sports leaders.

Dr. Saqr Al-Mulla expressed his pride in the achievement saying that the first place on the Asian continent came as a conclusive confirmation that Kuwaiti sports are fine and recovering, and we are proud of the sincere efforts. he further stated that he was satisfied with and felt proud of everyone and will continue to work and develop all games.
