24 Hostile Drones Intercepted by Kuwait in 48 Hours, No Casualties Reported

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 11: The Ministry of Defense said its forces monitored and dealt with 24 hostile drones over the past 48 hours, according to the official spokesman Brigadier General Saud Al-Otaibi.

In a statement, Al-Otaibi said the drones were handled in accordance with established procedures by the armed forces, adding that the incidents resulted in limited material damage but no human casualties.

He described the attacks as “hostile” and said they form part of ongoing regional tensions, without providing further operational details.

The spokesman reaffirmed that Kuwait’s armed forces continue to carry out their duties efficiently, maintaining high levels of readiness to protect national security and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.

He added that security units remain actively monitoring aerial threats and responding to incidents as part of ongoing defensive measures.
