Expatriate workers engage in car wash business.

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23, (Agencies) In an extensive series of inspection campaigns conducted by the General Department of Residence Affairs, represented by the Investigation and Research Division and the Third Committee, in the areas of Salmiya, Fintas, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Al-Farwaniya Governorate, along with a surprise operation at the fish market in the Eastern region, a total of 160 violators were apprehended. Among them were 15 street vendors, 24 car wash operators, and 5 individuals found in possession of 120 bottles of locally produced liquor. Additionally, 5 individuals were caught operating an unlicensed bakery within a building in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and 2 individuals were involved in fraudulent service offices.

The Ministry of Interior has confirmed that legal actions will be taken against the violators and they will be referred to the appropriate authorities for further proceedings.
