22,000 expats deported

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: About 24,000 expatriate prisoners were sent to the Talha Prison since the beginning of this year until October end, reports Al-Qabas daily. The source added 22,000 of these expatriates have already been deported. Of the remaining 2,000, a total of 700 are still awaiting deportation while the others have been either released on bail or pending settlement of their cases.

Witchcraft tools: Customs officers at the air cargo department of the Kuwait International Airport have seized a parcel containing witchcraft tools, reports Al-Shahed daily. Without going into details the daily said the parcel was sent from Nigeria to a post office box in Sulaibiya
