22 Workers Injured in Bus Crash on Kuwait's Abdali Road, Three Seriously Hurt

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7 : Twenty-two workers were injured, some suffering fractures of varying severity, after a bus carrying them crashed into an earthen berm and a metal fence on Al-Abdali Road, according to a security source.

The Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report about the accident yesterday morning. Police patrols, traffic officers and emergency medical teams rushed to the scene, where they found the damaged bus and injured workers.

All 22 workers were taken by ambulance to Al-Jahra Hospital for treatment and medical observation. While most were kept under observation, the condition of three workers was described as serious, requiring admission to a hospital ward.

The project manager was also present at the scene as traffic and rescue teams worked to manage the accident and regulate traffic in the area.

Authorities have launched the necessary procedures to determine the circumstances and cause of the crash.
