DUBAI, Aug 22: Nearly 22,000 Pakistani nationals were deported from Gulf countries between March 1 and July 13, 2026, for violations including visa offences, overstaying, begging and forged documents, according to a written response submitted to Pakistan’s National Assembly.
The figures were disclosed in response to a question raised by MNA Hameed Hussain during Question Hour. The response said 21,951 Pakistanis were deported during the period, including 4,628 absconders, while 1,294 were jailed and 968 were blacklisted. Another 1,155 deportation cases involved lost passports, while 689 Pakistanis were deported for visa violations and 342 were refused entry.
Saudi Arabia accounted for a significant number of the deportations, including 3,921 absconders and 1,924 Pakistanis for visa-related offences. The UAE deported 636 absconders and 347 Pakistanis for visa violations, while Oman deported 295 for visa-related offences. Nine Pakistani nationals were also deported from the UAE through Interpol, according to Khaleej Times
