21-Day Closure of Fast Lane on King Faisal Road Begins; Drivers Advised to Use Alternative Routes

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: The General Directorate of Traffic announced that the left (fast) lane in both directions on King Faisal Road (Route 50) will be closed for 21 days. The closure will begin at the intersection of Ibrahim Al-Muzain Street with King Faisal Road and extend towards Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road).

Authorities advised motorists to use the following alternative routes while the closure is in effect:

  • King Fahd Road
  • King Isa Road
  • Airport Road (Route 55)

The Directorate urged drivers to follow traffic instructions, plan their journeys, and exercise caution to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent congestion.
