WASHINGTON, Nov 5, (Agencies): An upcoming iteration of the Apple Watch is poised to revolutionize users' well-being, as per a recent report. Expected by 2024, the next Apple Watch model is rumored to incorporate groundbreaking features, including blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection.

According to the report, the forthcoming Apple Watch will be equipped with a blood pressure sensor designed to alert wearers when their blood pressure elevates, though it won't display precise numerical readings. Instead, the device will encourage users to consult with their healthcare providers or employ alternative methods for obtaining accurate measurements. Apple envisions a future where the watch can provide precise blood pressure data.

Additionally, the 2024 Apple Watch is anticipated to monitor users' breathing patterns and sleeping habits. It can even predict the presence of sleep apnea, a condition characterized by intermittent interruptions in breathing during sleep, as defined by The Mayo Clinic. When the watch identifies potential signs of sleep apnea, it will recommend that wearers seek confirmation from a medical professional.

Not limited to the Apple Watch, the tech giant also has ambitious plans for its Vision Pro headset. Apple is actively developing "anti-anxiety" and "enhanced meditation" features for this product, with a slated release date in early 2024. The company's vision is to transform the Vision Pro headset into a virtual reality system that fosters positive thinking and enhances mental well-being.

Moreover, Apple intends to harness the sensors embedded in the Vision Pro to gather cognitive health data through eye scans, further expanding its health-focused technological innovations.
