20 dental centers stay open during Eid break

KUWAIT CITY, June 24: The Ministry of Health issued a press statement on Friday to announce that 20 dental centers will operate from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm during the Eid Al-Adha holidays, in addition to five emergency night centers in various health zones, reports Al-Rai daily. The ministry explained that there are four such centers in the Capital Health Zone – Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim in Sulaibikhat, Hamad Al-Saqar in Adailiya, Mirza Al-Ahqaqi in Daiya, and Munira Al-Ayyar in Kaifan.
There are three centers in Hawally Health Zone – West Salmiya Clinic, Mahmoud Hajji Haidar, and Sabah Al-Salem, two centers in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health Zone – Salaam Clinic and Adan Specialist Clinic. There are four centers in the Farwaniya Health Zone – Osaimi, South Firdous, West Farwaniya, and Abdullah Al- Mubarak Clinics, and three centers in the Ahmadi Health Zone – Jaber Al-Ali, Fahaheel, and Sabah Al-Ahmad (A) Clinics.
There are four centers in the Jahra Health Zone – Jahra Clinic, Saad Al-Abdullah Center in Block 2, Qasr Clinic and South Sulaibiya Clinic. The specialized emergency dental clinics are the Amiri Center, which operates around the clock, and Farwaniya, Jaber Al-Ahmad, Al-Adan, and Jahra Hospitals which will operate from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The working hours of the emergency clinics affiliated with the school programs for oral and dental health will operate from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, will include the Hawally school program in Salmiya and the Ahmadi school program in Fahaheel, and will receive children up to 15 years old.
Regarding the working hours of the Blood Transfusion Services Department, the ministry stated that the blood bank in Jabriya will receive donors from Tuesday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, except on Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00pm. It is also open to platelet donors from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. As for the cooperative center in Adan, the ministry said it will receive donors on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays only from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
