20 Arrests Made in 16 Cases with Various Drugs Seized

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: The General Department of Narcotics Control successfully arrested 20 expats of various nationalities in 16 cases. The arrests were made in connection with the possession of approximately 13 kilograms of various narcotics, including Crystal Meth, Hashish, Chemicals, Marijuana, and Cocaine. Additionally, 29,100 pills of various psychotropic substances, such as Larica, Captagon, Zinex, and Metadol, were confiscated. The operation also uncovered proceeds from drug sales, and one of the defendants was found to be in possession of unlicensed ammunition.

Upon being confronted with the seized items, the defendants confessed to owning the substances with the intention of trafficking and abuse. Subsequently, both the individuals and the confiscated items were handed over to the competent authority for the initiation of necessary legal actions against them.
