2 more infections from coronavirus reported in Kuwait - Total infected 64

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 08: The Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, that two new infections, one of a female Kuwaiti citizen and another of an Egyptian national, were infected with the "Covid-19" virus, and they were transferred to the designated hospital to receive the necessary health care.

The official spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in a statement, that the Kuwaiti citizen was coming from Iran while the Egyptian expat had gone to Azerbaijan on a private visit via the Emirates, and he returned from there, his travel to Egypt during the past six months was not proven.

He added that the expatriate reviewed one of the emergency departments of the Ministry of Health, and after confirming the date of travel, the isolation procedures was carried out as he was coming from one of the countries that had recorded cases of coronavirus, and was being transferred to the designated hospital.

This brings the total number of registered cases confirmed to be infected in the State of Kuwait to date, to 64.
