KUWAIT CITY, Sep 6 : Security authorities have arrested two individuals in the Salmiya area after they were allegedly found in possession of 163 sachets suspected of containing heroin, as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and apprehend dealers.
The arrest was carried out by the Hawalli Governorate Security Directorate during a reconnaissance patrol. The suspects reportedly attempted to flee and dispose of the bags upon seeing the patrol, but security personnel managed to apprehend them.
Seized Items
- 163 sachets suspected of containing the narcotic substance heroin.
- 88 sachets were found in the possession of the second suspect.
- 75 sachets were found in the possession of the first suspect.
The two suspects and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.
