1st Deputy PM brings emergency care at Interior Ministry’s doorstep

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah during the inauguration of an emergency medical clinic at the Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Building at the Ministry of Interior.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah opened an emergency medical clinic on Monday at the Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Building at the Ministry of Interior. The ministry said in a statement that the clinic was opened as part of cooperation and integration between the Ministries of Interior and Health to enhance healthcare services for ministry personnel. The opening was attended by Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lt. Gen. Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib and Health Ministry Undersecretary Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, along with senior officials from both ministries.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef reviewed the clinic’s facilities and departments and was briefed on its operations and medical services for military and civilian Interior Ministry personnel. He praised the Health Ministry’s efforts and continued cooperation, stressing the importance of joint work to improve healthcare and facilitate access to emergency medical services for ministry personnel. Sheikh Dr. Salman said the clinic adds to the healthcare system serving Interior Ministry personnel, reaffirming the Health Ministry’s commitment to facilitating their access to medical care and improving the quality of services provided.
