18-year-old Kuwaiti assaulted inside a fast-food restaurant

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: An 18-year-old Kuwaiti man suffered serious facial injuries after being assaulted by an unidentified person inside a fast-food restaurant in the Capital Governorate.

According to the report, the young man went to a police station in the governorate and reported that he had been assaulted inside the restaurant. He submitted a medical report documenting the injuries he sustained in the incident.

The medical report revealed that the victim suffered a fracture to the upper jaw, a fracture of the upper bone near the teeth, and a laceration to the upper gum.

The Public Prosecution was notified and ordered that the incident be registered as a felony case. The Capital Governorate Criminal Investigation Department was tasked with identifying and apprehending the suspect.

Investigators are expected to review surveillance camera footage from the restaurant and surrounding areas, which could prove crucial in identifying the assailant and determining the circumstances surrounding the attack.

The investigation remains ongoing.
