18-year-old girl among 7 dead in traffic accidents during holidays

KUWAIT CITY, July 9: Horrifying traffic accidents were witnessed during Eid holiday in Kabad, Fahaheel Expressway, King Fahd Road, Mahboula and the Seventh Ring Road, which claimed many lives. A security source said a citizen perished in a two-car collision on the Sixth Ring Road. Based on a distress call received by the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry about the incident, a team of securitymen accompanied paramedics went to the scene and dealt with the situation.

Meanwhile, another citizen succumbed to injuries in an accident on the King Fahd Road opposite Bayan area. A rescue team referred the remains to Forensics. Also, two Arab nationals died in another collision between a saloon car and water tanker in Abdali farms area, and a citizen in his 20s died on the second day of Eid along Fahaheel Expressway in a similar incident. And, 19-year old citizen with his 18-year old female compatriot died on the first day of Eid in a ghastly traffic accident in Mahboula area. A case was registered.
