KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: The General Authority for Food and Nutrition conducted an inspection campaign targeting food warehouses in Farwaniya Governorate as part of its ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with health and food safety standards.
The inspection resulted in the issuance of five violation reports against establishments found to be non-compliant with health regulations. Authorities also issued a destruction report for 173 kilograms of food products deemed unfit for human consumption.
The confiscated food items were destroyed in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
The authority reaffirmed that inspection campaigns will continue across food establishments and warehouses, with legal action to be taken against violators to protect consumer health and safety.
