17 Expats arrested for violating visa law

KUWAIT CITY, March 31: As part of its ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal activities, the Department of Counterfeiting and Forgery Crimes, which is a division of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, has arrested seventeen individuals of various nationalities. These individuals were found to be in violation of labor laws, including engaging in marginal labor, violating residency and work permits, and overstaying their visas. They have been handed over to the appropriate authorities to face legal action.
