KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The Operations Sector of the General Traffic Department organized a security campaign yesterday evening against violators of traffic laws and reckless drivers in several areas of Al-Ahmadi, including Al-Sabahiya, Umm Al-Haiman , and Fahd Al-Ahmad, and arrested 16 people were, including 6 Kuwaiti juveniles.
Some of those arrested were caught driving without license and others for installing exhausts to make annoying sounds and driving recklessly putting their lives and the lives of others in jeopardy.
The 6 juveniles were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution and the others were referred to the General Traffic Department. During the campaign 32 traffic violations were issued and 15 cars were impounded and towed to the traffic detention garage.
