16 Asian and European Expats Involved in Prostitution

KUWAIT CITY, June 23: The Department of Protection of Public Morals, within the Criminal Security Sector, successfully apprehended a total of 16 individuals of Asian and European descent. These individuals were charged with engaging in activities that go against public morality in exchange for monetary compensation.

In an effort to uphold public morals, the security forces have intensified their surveillance measures and continue to conduct daily searches and investigations on online platforms and social media networks dedicated to illicit business activities.

The recent operation carried out by the Criminal Security Sector, through the Department of Protection of Public Morals, led to the arrest of two individuals. One of them was discovered to be managing multiple websites across different regions, which were being utilized for conducting immoral activities. Furthermore, a camera system was found in his possession, used for documenting and monitoring the movement of people. Additionally, nine women and four men were apprehended on charges of engaging in vice activities that involved accepting money in the Mahboula region.

The investigation also uncovered a European woman who was managing an account aimed at promoting immoral activities. She was apprehended and revealed to be associated with an international network involved in such practices.

Consequently, all individuals involved in these acts were handed over to the relevant authorities to initiate the necessary legal actions against them.
