KUWAIT CITY, June 12: The Ministry of Interior announced that it referred 156 juveniles to the prosecution during the past week, reports Al- Rai daily. The weekly statistics of traffic violations from June 4 to June 19, 2022 shows the General Traffic Department had issued 23,473 traffic citations, seizing 110 vehicles, 65 motorists were arrested as precautionary measures, 23 vehicles were impounded and 13 people wanted by law were taken into custody.
The Ministry of Interior indicated that the traffic and security deployment on the roads to control traffic and reduce vehicle accidents came in implementation of the instructions of the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs Major General Jamal Al Sayegh.
