KUWAIT, April 1 : Kuwait registered on Thursday six deaths and 1,418 new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours. The spokesman of Kuwait's Health Ministry Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said to KUNA that this brings the country's infections tally to 233,521 while the death toll swelled to 1,319.
He added that 1,293 people have recovered from the virus over the past hours, bringing the total recoveries to 217,873.
Moreover, he has indicated that 252 people are in intensive care units (ICUs), while 14,329 others are still receiving medical treatment.
Dr. Al-Sanad has furthermore pointed out that 9,580 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, bringing the total examinations to 2,066,048 (KUNA) --
