14 days institutional quarantine for arriving passengers from banned countries

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation stated that  based on the directives of the competent authorities no passengers will be accepted to board flights to Kuwait without registering on Kuwait Mosafer app.

Banned countries passengers

All passengers arriving to Kuwait from 21st Feb, will be subjected to two PCR tests on their own cost, payment will be made through Kuwait Mosafer app either through the airlines or the ground handling agents in Kuwait International Airport.

All passengers arriving from restricted countries from Sunday, 21st February will be subject to 14 days quarantine on their own cost at locally approved hotels, all arrangements must be done through Kuwait Mosafer or Belsalamah app

Non banned countries passengers

Passengers from non restricted countries will be subjected to 7 days institution quarantine at their own cost at locally approved hotels, all arrangements must be done through Kuwait Mosafer or Belsalamah app

PCR test will be performed on the 6th day,if the result is negative, a 7 days period of home quarantine will be completed.

All domestic workers will be continued to be accepted to enter Kuwait through Belsalamah app

All Airlines are required to comply with above guidelines any violations airlines will be held responsible and will be subjected to relevant penalties.
