KUWAIT CITY, June 2: At least 1,345 people have been infected with the COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, pushing the caseload up to 311,846, Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said on Wednesday. Up to 1,270 people recovered from the disease in the same period, taking overall recoveries to 296,242, he told KUNA in a statement. 4 people died of the coronavirus pandemic, raising the death toll to 1,779, Al-Sanad noted.
