1,300 Captagon pills seized from Arab trucker

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: An Arab expatriate was arrested at Abdali border checkpoint for attempting to smuggle 1,300 Captagon pills into the country by hiding them in the pipes under his tanker. According to sources, customs officers were inspecting vehicles that had arrived at the border checkpoint from Iraq. When they checked the tanker, they found some suspicious pipes below it.

They opened it to find 1,300 Captagon pills. When questioned, the driver of Arab nationality confessed that he was intending to smuggle the narcotic pills into the country and sell them. Necessary action was taken against him and he was referred to the Drugs Control General Department for investigations.

Meanwhile, an Iraqi expatriate was also arrested at Abdali border checkpoint in possession of tools used for black magic. He was referred with the items to the General Department for Criminal Evidences for necessary legal action.
