KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested two people for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily quoting security sources said two persons – citizens have been arrested by the CID and seized from them 13 kilos of the narcotic hashish. The daily added the arrest came after CID men were tipped off by a police agent that the men were trafficking in drugs.
The Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry and Security Media stated acting on this information a trap was set for the suspects and they one of them was caught while selling a quantity of hashish to a police agent. The CID men also seized from them a scale and other tools used in the trade. After the house of one of them raided police found a large quantity of drugs.
