12 people refereed to Public Prosecutor for forging Doctorate degrees

KUWAIT CITY, April 4: The number of people referred to the Public Prosecutor’s for forging doctorate degrees increased to 12, including 8 who work in the educational institutions, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The Ministry of Higher Education has referred four new holders of doctorate degrees for falsifying their academic certificates.

According to a well-informed source, a number of those referred to the Prosecution did not complete their course for PhD but were enrolled in institutes which are not recognized by the educational system in the country. The source added referrals to the Public Prosecution will continue as long as holders produce forged certificates.
