12 Asian Expats Arrested in Crackdown on Local Alcohol Production

Kuwait City, Sept 26: The Ministry of Interior successfully carried out daily operations, intensifying search and investigation efforts across various regions of the country. As a result of these operations, a total of 12 Asian expats have been arrested in connection with 7 separate cases.
These arrests stem from allegations related to the production and promotion of locally-made alcohol. Enforcement authorities have uncovered 6 facilities equipped for the production of alcohol. Additionally, a significant quantity of 7854 bottles of homemade liquor, 6 containers, 116 barrels used for fermentation, and 3 Swimming tubs for filling have been confiscated as evidence.
The accused individuals, along with the seized items, have been handed over to the appropriate legal authorities for further action in accordance with the law.
