12 abandoned cars lifted; 33 violating shops shut in Mubarakiya

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2: In its ongoing efforts to implement laws and regulations Kuwait municipality’s supervisory team from Hawally Governorate confiscated 12 abandoned vehicles from Salmiya and South Surra.

In related news the municipality shut 33 stores in Mubarikya for violating health regulations, advertisements and store regulation. The shop owners have been warned that its workers should commit to health regulations by wearing gloves, masks, and maintain social distancing in order to ensure their safety and the safety of the public, as well as adherence to shop regulations and advertisements to avoid violation and fine.

The municipality has called on Kuwaitis and expats to complain over WhatsApp 24727732 or call on 139.
