111 kg of Rotten Fish and 83 kg of Shrimp Confiscated in Kuwait Market

KUWAIT CITY, March 20: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced the seizure of 111 kilograms of fish deemed unfit for human consumption from local fish stalls. Authorities issued violation and destruction reports for the spoiled seafood, taking all necessary legal measures.

In a separate action, 83 kilograms of frozen shrimp that had been thawed and sold as fresh Kuwaiti shrimp were also confiscated for violating health and food safety regulations. The Authority reiterated its commitment to intensive inspections and monitoring to protect consumer health and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
