11-Year-Old Girl Slightly Injured in Bahrain as Intercepted Drone Debris Falls in Residential Areas

MANAMA, Jun 11: Bahrain authorities said an 11-year-old girl sustained minor injuries after debris from intercepted Iranian drones fell in populated areas on Thursday.

The Ministry of Interior stated that the child was treated at the scene and did not require hospitalisation.

According to the ministry, falling debris also caused vehicles to catch fire and damaged homes in Hamad Town and parts of the capital, Manama. Emergency response teams and civil defense units were deployed to manage the situation and secure affected areas.

Officials added that the necessary safety and containment measures were implemented promptly, while monitoring and response operations continue in coordination with relevant agencies.
