11 tailoring shops shut for sale of military uniforms

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) has administratively shut down 11 shops which specialized in sewing military supplies, reports Al-Rai daily.

The ministry in a statement said, the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector has closed the sewing shops, for violating the nature of work. The source pointed out the shops carried out activities contrary to the law through the sale of military ranks, hats and epaulets without permission from the concerned authorities.
