RIYADH, Aug 7: The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen said 11 civilians were injured in Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia's Najran region on Thursday.

Coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al-Maliki said the injured included seven Saudi nationals, among them a woman and a four-year-old child, as well as one Yemeni, two Egyptians and one Pakistani. The child sustained second-degree burns. Al-Maliki said the Houthi militia used indiscriminate projectiles targeting civilian facilities, describing the attack as a violation of international humanitarian law and a deliberate assault on civilians and civilian infrastructure.
