KUWAIT CITY: Field teams from the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Department at Kuwait Municipality’s Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate branch have intensified inspection campaigns to remove violations and improve public cleanliness across residential areas.
According to the municipality’s Public Relations Department, the campaigns are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regulatory oversight and enforce public hygiene and road occupancy regulations.
The inspections resulted in the removal of 11 abandoned and scrap vehicles, as well as two boats and one caravan, all of which were transferred to the municipal impound lot.
Municipality teams also issued 15 violations related to public cleanliness and road occupancy, along with 19 removal notices covering abandoned vehicles and commercial containers.
As part of efforts to enhance sanitation services, the teams replaced 24 old waste containers with new ones.
The municipality said the campaigns aim to improve the appearance of residential neighborhoods, eliminate obstacles that hinder movement, and enhance the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.
