KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: The Traffic and Operations Sector at the Ministry of Interior announced significant results from its recent intensive traffic and security campaigns, carried out by the General Directorate of Emergency Police across the country.
According to the report, 1,074 security operations were conducted, leading to the arrest of 35 wanted individuals for various offenses, including expired residencies, absconding cases, and outstanding arrest warrants.
Authorities also registered 2,666 traffic violations and impounded three vehicles for serious infractions. Additionally, three vehicles wanted by the judiciary were seized, and 10 individuals without identification were apprehended.
During the campaigns, security teams intervened to break up 11 fights, provided assistance to 402 individuals, and handled 123 traffic accidents and three pedestrian accidents.
The Traffic and Operations Sector reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining public safety and road discipline, pledging to continue field operations and tighten enforcement measures to ensure full compliance with the law.
