KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: In a painful blow dealt by the Ministry of Interior to violators of residence law, the Ministry of Interior has deported 1,066 violators during the past seven days, and also arrested 107 illegals during a security campaign in the vegetables market, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

A security source explained that among the deportees were 613 males and 453 females, stressing that the ministry continues to deport people to eliminate all violators of the Residence and Labor Law, those caught violating public morals, criminals and those who violate the country’s laws.

In this context, the Residency Affairs Investigation Department launched a surprise security campaign on the vegetable market in the Kabd area, which resulted in the arrest of 107 violators of the Residency and Labor Law and seized people of various nationalities.

They were referred to the competent authority to take the necessary legal measures against them.
