TEHRAN, Mar 4: Iranian authorities said Wednesday evening that the death toll from the joint Israeli-American attacks on Iran has risen to 1,045.
According to the Iranian Martyrs Foundation, the fatalities include both military personnel and civilians killed in what it described as a U.S.-Israeli military offensive.
Since last Saturday, Tehran and several other Iranian cities have reportedly come under large-scale attacks, resulting in significant casualties. Among those reported killed are senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Secretary of the Supreme Defense Council Ali Shamkhani, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Major General Mohammad Pakpour, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh.
Iranian officials have not provided further details, and independent verification of the figures was not immediately available.
