Inspectors from the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition’s Inspection Department conducted an inspection campaign at Jleb Al Shuyoukh Market, resulting in several food safety violations.

The campaign led to the issuance of four reports on trading adulterated food products and one deportation report. Inspectors also issued four destruction reports, destroying 100 kilograms of meat of unknown origin.

The authority said it will continue intensifying inspection campaigns across Kuwait’s governorates and strengthening oversight of food establishments and related activities.

It added that the measures are aimed at protecting consumer health, ensuring the safety of food products circulating in markets and safeguarding public health.
