KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: Within the framework of campaigns aimed at arresting violators of laws and menial workers, a security source revealed that more than a thousand expatriates were arrested from January 1 to 5, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily said a majority of those arrested have been referred to the deportation center by the law. The source confirmed that the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, directed the continuation of campaigns all to rid the country of illegal workers. On the other hand, the General Traffic Department announced the referral of several reckless people and those who endanger the lives of others in the Fahaheel area to the Traffic Court, after the spread of a video clip containing a gathering, reckless and reckless operations, stressing that any violation of the law will not be tolerated.

Meanwhile, the residency investigation officers have arrested 289 expatriates of various nationalities for violating the residency and labor laws during security campaigns in Fahaheel, Mangaf, Farwaniya, Shuwaikh, Hawalli, Khaitan, Al-Hasawi, and Kabd, reports Al-Rai daily. The inspection campaigns were jointly organized by the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations, the Research and Investigation Department, the Control and Coordination Department, the Violators Follow-up Department, and the Financial and Administrative Services Department.
