1-legged dealer in cop custody

KUWAIT CITY, April 25: Farwaniya police dealt another blow to drug dealers when they arrested a disabled man with one leg for selling Lyrica pills in the area. A security source told the newspaper that the man attempted to elicit sympathy, claiming he was not carrying any contraband. However, the officers’ keen observation exposed his scheme. He was referred to the concerned authorities, along with the confiscated drugs.

The source said the Farwaniya security personnel noticed the suspicious behavior of the man while patrolling the area. The officers found out that he was selling Lyrica pills packed in small bags. The source added that a precautionary search led to the discovery of an undisclosed quantity of narcotic pills and cash in possession of the suspect. The source emphasized that security forces do not tolerate anyone proven to be involved in drug trafficking or distribution, affirming the continuation of daily security campaigns to apprehend criminals, regardless of their methods of concealment or disguise.
